Women's History Month Event

Roseville Community Charter School celebrated Women's History Month throughout the month of March by recognizing the significant contributions and the many facets of women through the decades! On March 28th, the culmination of lessons, class research projects, and activities was on full display for the entire school community and the day ended with an amazing school wide assembly highlighting some special women who have made a significant difference in our society! RCCS celebrates EXCELLENCE! Special thanks to Ms. G. Rayes (Teacher / Committee Chair) and the Women's History Month Committee!

Spring Break!

Dear RCCS Families,

On behalf of the entire Roseville Community Charter School team, this comes to wish all of you a wonderful spring break and holiday with your family and friends! Don't forget to take advantage of the extra day off on Monday April 8th to experience the TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE that will take place in our area on that day in the afternoon! See the letter from my office for details and for links to purchase solar eclipse glasses if you'd like! Please remember that we return from Spring Break on Tuesday, April 9th!

Queens Who Read

RCCS Queens Who Read

Roseville Community Charter School under the leadership of Dr. Dionne Ledford, Executive Director & Superintendent, hosted its 3rd annual "Queens who Read" ~ literacy event on International Women's Day, March 8th this year! This is the sister program to our "Kings who Read" literacy event held annually during the month of Dr. MLK's birthday, in January. Both of these events promote and celebrate the importance of literacy as it relates to lifelong success; and during this "women's history month" having the special "Queens" in our scholars' lives and throughout our community come to read to our scholars as demonstration of their LOVE of reading... is so impactful! Thank you to all the "Queens" who took the time to serve as our guest readers! 📚👑
